Italian PM Giorgia Meloni is seeking to reduce the number of drink-driving-related accidents in Italy .

Alcolocks, or ignition interlock devices, are now enforced in some European countries and some states in the US .

The devices work similarly to police breathalyser tests: Drivers must blow into a tube before starting the car.
