Police heard pilot shouting for help at crash scene at Leicester City helicopter crash.
Sgt Michael Hooper and PC Stephen Quartermain were among first emergency workers at the scene.
Five people died in the crash, including Foxes chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha , Kaveporn Punpare , Nusara Suknamai , pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz .
Mr Hooper said he used his baton to try to break windscreen of helicopter to no avail.
Witness: "It all seemed like it was happening in slow motion. It was just a whirlwind of consciousness really" A statement from Dr Matthew Woods , a pre-hospital doctor for East Midlands Ambulance Service , read out.
Dr Woods's statement said when he arrived at the scene he saw that the occupants of the helicopter were "clearly deceased"..
