GOP wants answers on 'Bidenbucks' voter turnout - Washington Examiner

77% Informative
President Donald Trump rescinded a Biden -era executive order that Republicans argued set aside federal funding to register Democrats to vote in elections.
The order, called “ Promoting Access to Voting,” was part of a sweeping Day One effort by Trump to roll back initiatives that Republicans said empowered progressive nonprofit groups in an illegal manner.
Republican lawmakers and conservative think tanks are still demanding internal documents that, as part of their investigations into the order, they believe will pull back the curtain on outside influence and government overreach.
Lawmakers are pressing ahead under President Trump to obtain documents related to the 'Bidenbucks' order.
Rep. Claudia Tenney , a member of the Election Integrity Caucus , says she's looking into a memo advising the White House to support registering illegal immigrants to vote.
The Heritage Foundation , the architect of the “Project 2025” plan, is also seeking documents pertaining to the executive order.
