Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 956 people on Sunday , the largest number of arrests on a single day by the Trump administration to date.

Chicago is a sanctuary city which protects migrants seeking citizenship.

ICE has touted the crackdown as targeting criminals, but there has been concern over law-abiding migrants and those with permits.
