The creators of Avatar , their last Airbender, have been tapped by Nickelodeon to head up Avatar Studios , a new division of Nic aimed at just producing Avatar content.

This is all huge news, especially after the pair decided to ditch the live action Netflix show.

The obvious move would be to adapt the comic books into a film, but I'm going to go ahead and say they shouldn't do that.

Avatar Studios has announced a new studio for Avatar .

The studio will be working on a new Avatar movie and a series of other projects.

I think there's a ton of possibilities of what they could do with the Avatar trilogy.

I would love to see a series that checks in every four or five years or so with Ang, Katara , Zuko and the rest as they deal with different phases of life.
