Saskatchewan government announced over $920 million in additional funding on Monday .
The government said the $923.1 million is part of a special warrant which will give ministries additional funding when the legislature is not in session.
The province said the warrants will provide essential funds to meet the needs of the health system, crop insurance payments, public safety agency, highways, education, correctional services, and “increased costs due to the ratification of various collective bargaining agreements.
