15 cases of measles reported in small West Texas county with high rate of vaccine exemptions

Fifteen measles cases have been confirmed in a small county in West Texas with one of the highest rates of vaccine exemptions in the state.
The U.S. saw a rise in measles cases in 2024 , including an outbreak in Chicago that sickened more than 60 .
Some of the cases appear to be connected to private religious schools in the district.
