B.C. businessman Ron Shore says he was violently attacked and robbed of two valuable sculptures in May 2016 .
The sculptures were part of a charity treasure hunt he'd planned to raise money for breast cancer research.
He says he had the eagles in a backpack and was about to put them in the trunk of his vehicle when he was robbed.
After the robbery, his insurance claim was denied, he filed a lawsuit in 2018 against insurers Lloyd’s Underwriters , broker HUB International and others.
A judge has now ruled that the case should proceed to trial more than six years after a lawsuit was filed.
