Korea -based company recalled 22 models of its Slide-In and Freestanding Electric Ranges after finding front-mounted knobs can be accidently activated by humans or pets.

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has received at least 86 reports of unintentional activation, which has caused more than 28 fires.

Samsung issued a recall last August for 1.1 million electric range ovens for fire hazards.

Samsung warned that fires can be caused by pets - or humans - knocking into the knobs that control the stovetops.
