The space agency hopes the plane will reduce sonic booms caused by supersonic aircraft's sonic boomoms.
The plane is designed to hit speeds of 925 miles per hour ( 1,489 kilometers per hour ) and cruise altitude of 55,000 feet ( 16,764 m) Once the plane flies for the first time, NASA will put the plane through a series of tests.
