Experts say 'impossible' for Sun and full Moon to align on horizon

A Thai -language Facebook post said the Sun and the full Moon met on the horizon over Patong Beach in February 2025 .
Astronomers said the Moon reflects light from the Sun only reflects sunlight and does not emit light on its own.
Matipon Tangmatitham , an astrophysicist at National Astronomical Research Institute , said the claim is " astronomically impossible".
