AFP grows Capitol Hill footprint; Trump 2028 push looks to House

Koch-funded group Americans for Prosperity is increasing its footprint on Capitol Hill .

It hosted Speaker Mike Johnson on Monday for a “congressional conversation” with Guy Benson , a Fox News contributor and member of AFP ’s advisory council.

AFP in January launched a $20 million campaign in support of extending the Trump tax cuts that he signed into law.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) last week , there was a push for a third term for President Trump .

The push is a project of Republicans for National Renewal, which describes itself as a nationalist and populist group.

The group is pushing for Rep. Andy Ogles ’s proposal for a constitutional amendment to allow Trump to seek third term because his were not consecutive.

Rep. Crenshaw responded “ Lol , no,” before the video went public.

Carlson responded by inviting him for a sit-down: “Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do?” I’d certainly tune in..
