60% Informative

Monster Hunter Wilds ’ visuals and map design feel like the next evolutionary step for Monster Hunter World and Iceborne .

With its large, seamless maps, you will certainly need a mount to cover all of that ground.

Instead of the local fauna from World or the Palamute from Rise, you now have the Seikret , which acts like the monster version of a Macross fighter.

The combat in Wilds is a lot more grounded and a bit slower-paced when compared to Rise ’s more jazzy mechanics.

With the loss of the Wirebug and its associated moves, you lose a lot of mobility.

One thing I do like is the return of traditional mounting.
