Airdrie resident shares petition to change name of Yankee Valley Blvd. to 'patriotic' alternative

Airdrie resident Danaye Maier shared a petition on Change.org on Thursday pushing to change the name of Yankee Valley Blvd .
The petition suggested changing the name to reflect either a local hero, a historical event or a cultural symbol more unique to the city.
So far, 150 people have signed the petition, which is open to all “patriotic” suggestions.
