Nate Petrone's career night leads Calgary Dinos to Canada West men's basketball title

The University of Calgary Dinos men’s basketball team is the Best in the West in 2025 .
Nate Petrone scored a career-high 38 points in 109 -96 win over host UBC Thunderbirds .
Petrone started the game on fire, going a perfect 8 -for-8 in the first quarter for 19 points.
The Dinos shot an incredible 72% in the opening frame, and finished the game connecting on 60.3% from the floor.
Adam Olsen led the Thunderbirds with a team-high 21 points as one of five players to score in double figures.
