President Donald Trump signed an executive order calling for the termination of diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility mandates, policies and programs in the federal government.
The orders were followed by many other executive orders aimed at reducing federal spending.
The president signed another executive order named “ Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity ”.
