'There were mistakes made': Councillor abandons attempt to rename Fish Creek-Lacombe LRT station

Coun. Peter Demong proposed Fish Creek-Lacombe LRT station to incorporate St. Mary’s University in title.
Demong presented a notice of motion in early 2024 to rebrand the Red Line station as St.Mary's University .
A city survey revealed that out of 710 respondents, only 47 were supportive of a name change.
