Turnovers trouble Byron in state quarterfinal loss to Alexandria

Alexandria Area defeats Byron 82 -70 in Class 3A boys basketball state quarterfinal.
The Cardinals move on to the state semifinals to play No. 2 Totino-Grace at 2 p.m. on Friday .
Byron will be graduating a group of eight seniors from the program this season .
The Bears will play Duluth Denfeld in the consolation semifinals.
Finney : “We want to kind of extend the season as long as we can, so we'd like to get two more games in. ( Duluth Denfeld ) is in the same situation that we are right now, so it's just a matter of who prepares a little bit better and knocks shots down tomorrow .”.
