Underneath Earth’s Crust Scientists Have Discovered Out of Place Blobs of Mysterious Composition
66% Informative
Experts from ETH Zurich have used seismic waves in concert with the Peace Done supercomputer to analyze the lower mantle.
These blobs could be what they say are tectonic plant remnants, ones that are cooler and higher density than the rest of the material around them.
They say they could have been bits of our planet's crust.
