Nebraska's Pro Day an opportunity for former Huskers to shine

Tuesday will be Nebraska 's pro day, where several players from Nebraska , and even some from small colleges around the area, will get measured, work out and test in front of NFL scouts.

Four former Huskers accepted invites to the NFL Combine about a month ago , including tight end Thomas Fidone II , receiver Isaiah Neyor and defensive back Tommi Hill .

Rhule made it a point to travel to see as many of his former players as possible during their all-star games and the combine.

Rhule also made a guest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show .

He said the interview wasn't planned, but when an opportunity to showcase Nebraska and its football program on a large platform like McAfee's , the coach will try to take it every time.
