Five-year-old girl recovering after fentanyl overdose in Mission

A five-year-old girl apparently overdosed on illicit fentanyl at a home in Mission , British Columbia .
Paramedics had to administer “multiple doses of naloxone to counteract the effects of the fentanyl, which helped the girl’s condition to improve.
Police are reminding the public “how incredibly dangerous the drug can be to people of any age, but especially to children,” said Mission RCMP Cpl . Harrison Mohr .
