B.C. Greens seek substantial changes to NDP's power-grab legislation

The government is meeting with the Greens Tuesday to discuss amendments to the bill.
Bill was signed by leaders of the two parties on March 12 and signed by Premier David Eby on March 13 .
The two Green MLAs will “propose substantive amendments to ensure transparency, accountability, and fair economic outcomes” Kahlon cautions that there are limits on how far the New Democrats will go in diluting Bill 7 .
They don't want to sacrifice the original notion, which was to give the cabinet the power to respond quickly to the Trump tariffs.
