Archaeology is one of my favorite topics on this channel because, well, that's how we're able to get a glimpse of our past.

We base most of what we know about how our planet was formed, our ancestors and how they lived.

So far, according to scientists, the way it goes is that modern humans have been around for about 200,000 years .

But throughout history, again and again, new clues seem to emerge that tells a different story.

The fossil was found among some loose rocks when he was descending a small hill in the Fisher Canyon in Nevada .

The rock was later examined by an expert geologist at the Rockefeller Foundation where it was confirmed that the rock is undoubtedly limestone from the Triassic .

In 1997 a fossilized shoe print was found in Wulumuchi city in China that measured 10 inches long.
