Ashlee Christine Shingoose , 31 , was one of four known victims of a serial killer who targeted Indigenous women in Manitoba .
The identification was confirmed through DNA tests on pants linked to convicted murderer Jeremy Skibicki .
The news prompted police to redouble efforts to search Winnipeg -area landfills where the remains of three other victims have been found.
