Trump tariffs won't lead supply chains back to U.S., companies will go low-tariff globe-hopping: CNBC survey

Most companies say high costs will keep them from moving manufacturing back to the U.S. If they do, 81% expect automation to be favored over workers.
Nearly half say reshoring would double costs and that President Donald Trump 's trade war is more likely to kick off a new global search for low-tariff regimes.
