Chicago White Sox designates Mike Clevinger for assignment.

The White Sox recall Steven Wilson from Triple-A Charlotte in the corresponding move.

Wilson has a 1.69 ERA, one save, one hold and 10 strikeouts in five relief appearances for Charlotte .

The 34-year-old was 0-2 with a 7.94 ERA and three strikeouts over five relief outings this season .

“(Right-hander Jordan ) Leasure (has) been looking great ( 3.38 ERA) and then really kind of establishing how we can use him. “All the lefties have done a great job. I thought ( Brandon ) Eisert , the job he did yesterday ( 1 2/3 scoreless innings with two strikeouts) really gave us an opportunity to stay in the game there for a couple innings, which was nice to see. So I think we’re getting contributions from everywhere.”.
