2025 NFL Draft: Tetairoa McMillan has true WR1 potential and is much more than just a big body

Tetairoa McMillan joined the Arizona Wildcats as the 12th -ranked recruit in the nation, at any position, and as the top recruit out of the state of California , according to Rivals.

He had over 700 receiving yards and eight touchdowns as a true freshman.

He continued to produce at a high level in his sophomore and junior years as well, racking up a combined 174 receptions for over 2,700 yards .

Tetairoa McMillan is 6 -4 and plays big when working through contact and when the ball is in the air.

He is a vertical threat because of his catching range and ability to adjust for throws and come down with the football.

No FBS wide receiver ran more routes in 2024 with an extended time to throw ( four or more seconds ) than he did in 2024 .

Tetairoa McMillan has a feel for space, burst, and catching range during scramble drills.

He had more receiving yards ( 242 ) and receptions ( 10 ) than any other receiver in FBS on extended plays.

There are some similarities of build, ball skills, balance, and body coordination between him and Larry Fitzgerald .

The Cowboys have a good fit for him as an "X-ball-winning" wide receiver.
