Huione Pay Inc. was registered with the provincial government in October 2021 , listing a post office box in a small store on Main Street as its address.
The company changed its address to 71 West 2nd Ave. in Vancouver — a UPS store in the Olympic Village neighbourhood.
The B.C. branch of Huione Pay was registered with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada as a money-service business between December 2021 and December 2023 .
Fintrac wouldn’t say whether any concerns had been raised about Huione, or any enforcement action taken.
