Vaughn Palmer: Eby, Clark, B.C. NDP scramble to 'save the furniture'

67% Informative
B.C. Premier David Eby wanted to work with Mark Carney when he was chosen to lead the federal Liberals .
Eby was asked point blank if Canadians would be “best served if the Liberals were to win” and thereby “provide stability” to the country in the face of the tariff threat from the U.S. Eby: “I’m on team Orange , on team NDP ,” he assured reporters at one point.
“When was the last time you turned to a corporate banker to fight for the rights of working people?” asked Clark in The Sun on Friday .
“Let’s not fool ourselves. Carney has literally stolen many Conservative party policies. He is not likely to change the status quo or challenge corporate control.”.
