Sunday's Indiana High School Sports Awards show honored more than 300 athletes statewide

The Indiana High School Sports Awards were Sunday night at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University .

More than 300 athletes were honored, including the Players of the Year in 15 sports.

JonAnthony Hall , Meredith Tippner and John Hart were named winners for boys athlete of the year .

Maya Makalusky averaged 22.1 points and 6.8 rebounds to lead Hamilton Southeastern to its first sectional and regional championships since 2019 .

Julianna Ocampo continued to wrestle against the boys despite girls wrestling being IHSAA sanctioned for the first time this season .

Alex Shackell won gold and silver medals as part of Team USA’s relay teams at the Paris Olympics , swimming in the prelims.

Noah Weaver won a second -straight state title in a final match that lasted just 1 minute 55 seconds .
