83% Informative
California packaging company unveils RecyCoolers made of recyclable paper and fiber.
At least 33 states have adopted "extended producer responsibility" laws aimed at hard-to-recycle plastic and foam.
More than 80 million tons of packaging trash is discarded in the United States a year, with only half of it recycled.
Dozens of countries, including Canada , Germany and Zimbabwe , have banned or restricted the use of Styrofoam .
RecyCoolers were designed to work in concert with those emerging laws, says CCS co-owner.
“The versatility of the product plays a key role in supporting our commitment to environmental responsibility,” she says.
