Warren Buffett says tariffs should not be a "weapon" and the U.S. would be better off if other countries shared its prosperity.

Buffett , 94 , has run Berkshire Hathaway for 60 years and will step down as CEO at the end of the year .

Buffett downplays concern about Berkshire 's cash, saying the company "came close" to spending $10 billion recently, but that buying opportunities don't come in an orderly fashion.

Buffett also urged patience to investors worried about the direction of the country and the country.
