Harper Creek, Marshall champions lead Battle Creek-area results at MHSAA State Track Finals

Harper Creek junior DJ Wood was state champion in 110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles.
Beavers had athletes in almost every event at the MHSAA state meet.
Harper Creek earned all-state honors in five events.
Marshall 's Jack Bidwell was state champ in the 1,600 in a time of 4:14.95 .
The Climax-Scotts 800 relay team was fifth with Wurtzel , VanMiddlesworth , Lawrence and Brown. Riley Beaumont of Bellevue was sixth in the long jump at 20-10 .
