UK retailer Currys says it has sold 30,000 Switch 2 pre-orders, with one supplier cancelling some pre-order.

Nintendo briefly pulled Switch 2 sales in the US over concerns about tariffs.

Questions remain over whether the Switch 2 will match the success of its predecessor.

Nintendo senior director Takuhiro Dohta tells me he expects games to get even better.

"As developers continue to develop, they start to understand how it works and what it's capable of, so I think we can expect improvements not only in graphics but in gameplay too," he said.
