Re “Disreputable ruling” ( Brian Lilley , June 3 ): Using language such as “flimsy,” “sullied” and “outrageous” is inappropriate.
A more direct approach would be to put up a timeline, starting in 1990 , showing what the farmer got paid per pound for the cow and what a pound of hamburger cost.
