The Miami Hurricanes football program has found great success in their home state this spring .

The Hurricanes hold six commitments from our list of the Top 100 players in Florida for the class of 2026 .

Miami is actively pursuing five additional top 100 recruits, including the state's No. 1 overall player, Derrek Cooper .

Here are five recruits that Miami not only wants to land, but has a good chance of doing so by signing day.

He also has great size and is a big-time hitter. Jackson was a hard Gator commit until mid-April , when position coach Will Harris departed Gainesville for the same role at Miami . Miami is pushing hard for Jackson , and the relationship with Harris is the biggest driver. The Hurricanes offered him in late February , and had him on campus for two visits in March . Jackson says Harris was also in town on May 14 for a visit. He's locked in his official visit for early June ..
