Amherstburg house fire causes $900K in damage

Fire crews were called to the scene at a residence in the 100 block of Durango Avenue in Malden Centre just after 4 p.m. on June 4 after receiving reports of a structure fire.

Investigators found that the origin of the fire started below the back deck, and that the cause was likely due to an electrical failure at the receptacle located below the deck.
