Mysterious 'flying saucer' in Sahara Desert discovered on Google Maps

69% Informative
UFO hunter Scott Waring claims the 'UFO' is buried 34.4 feet ( 10.5 m) deep in the Sahara Desert .
Baffled viewers suggest it could be a crashed UFO that has been buried for thousands of years .
But experts say there is a much more mundane explanation for the strange site.
The 'mysterious' structure is actually just the foundation for an onshore wind turbine.
Buzz Aldrin did not believe what he saw was an alien in 1969 .
He said: 'Photos like this are not to be taken seriously and rank alongside stories that Elvis is still alive and he lives with Lord Lucan ' Aldrin: 'I feel absolutely convinced that we were looking at the sun reflected off of one of these panels'.
