The long-extinct dire wolf has been brought back to life in the U.S. after 13,000 years.

One of the three dire wolves has been named “Khaleesi” by a company called Colossal Biosciences.

It's obvious that one reason they chose dire wolves is that a bunch of them thought Game of Thrones was really cool.
