The FBI says Venezuelan officials are using Tren de Aragua gang members to destabilize the U.S

Tren de Aragua has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the Trump administration.

The FBI says some Venezuelan government officials "likely will attempt to leverage" members of the Venezuelan diaspora in the U.S. in order to erode public safety in the United States .

“These findings should shock Americans but not the law enforcement community,” an unnamed Trump administration official said.
