Ramsay is sceptical of carbon capture and storage (CCS) as a means of helping mitigate climate change.

He worries that solutions such as CCS provide an excuse for inaction.

Ramsay believes the case has yet to be made for sustainable aviation and sustainable aviation.

He says he is in favour of more research on CCS technology but it's got to be applied in the right way.
