Trump ’s team responded with receipts: Under the Biden Administration , the National Institutes of Health doled outmillions of dollars in taxpayer-funded grants.
Bloomberg ran a story on Elon Musk , claiming that he planned to “target” programs like Social Security and Medicare for massive spending cuts.
The Trump administration pushed back, noting that Musk was specifically seeking out fraud, wast, and abuse within those programs just as he was across other areas of the federal government.
